Last One Before Internship

Went out to Ipoh for the last outing for the semester

Before leaving for Internship

Visited NamHeong again to taste their White Coffee Ice as well as Egg Tarts

The Char Kuey Teow tasted a bit different

Not as tasty as compared to the first time I ate..

White Coffee Ice's taste is almost the same

Since I am not really good in Coffee though..

Egg Tart should be the one that maintained its standard..haha

Ipoh DimSum

I realised that I didn't eat Ipoh Dim Sum for quite a long time

Last time eaten was in August 2010..

Sigh..

Decided to have another try on the same restaurant we visited 2 years ago..

Kinda disappointing though..

Not as tasty as before..

Still it is pricy

Up to RM20 plus per person

Yet not yet full for a single breakfast

Surprisingly met a friend from Jerantut

Chemy Grand Dinner 2012

Just attended Chemy Grand Dinner 2012

Not to say attended

But I should say to Organize

Since I was the emcee for the night

It was an interesting night for me to become emcee

It was my first time and hoped its not too bad...

Of course I do hoped that they did enjoy the night

It was held in Impiana Hotel in Ipoh

Basically It's quite expensive

RM55 per person

And the food is not really that delicious..

However, we do enjoy the night very much..:D

Stress Month is Coming

I went to club last Friday

For the first time in Ipoh..

Enjoyed very much in OverTime despite of how expensive was the drink..LOL

Can't really focus much now..

Having so much things to do..

The list never get shorter..

Wondering this will be the most critical month ever..@@

Still I spent sometime in Ipoh yesterday

Went for sing k and shopping for my dinner this coming Saturday

Something to complain here about ETP

I am basically the one that didn't help much for the prototype construction

Helps a bit here and there only

And I am the one that will be doing all the documentation stuff

Including weekly progress report as well the final presentation slide and poster

I punya la susah finished the slide shows using powerpoint

And ended up getting comments that it is not cool enough

Not great enough

Should do something about flash..@@

They had decided to pass all the documentation thingy to my team member brother

Asking for helps to do all those great stuff

I do admit I can't produce good stuff like that..

Just that my effort is being wasted..

Should just said it earlier

So that I can focus on other stuff..

Having tests and all sort of things coming..

Food Hunt in Ipoh

I usually had only a few hot spots to eat in Ipoh

Other than Tong Sui Kai,Yeolde English or some other places

that are repetitive all the times..

We were eating the same good food everytime it's time for a meal

I looked through facebook and found 2 hot spots to get good food this time

And I managed to find them today

And ate all that I wanted

Super Full now..@@

First of all,

三轮车鲜虾鸡丝粉 Tricycle Chicken & Prawn Noodle

Address : 天津饮冰室内（Thean Chun Coffee Shop ）

It basically nearby the India Street and I remembered it was closed the last time I visited

This time, I am lucky..!!

It is basically 鸡丝河粉 with the soup made from prawn.

So it wont taste like the ordinary soup that we get

But it tasted more like a prawn soup..

Something different compared to those that I had tried..

牛腩面 is basically next to the prawn stall

It tasted good basically

At least not really over-rated.

The second one that we had found was

祥记云吞面 Cheong Kee Wantan Mee

Nearly get lost in Buntong as what google map told me is wrong..@@

But still managed to find it after asking the local where is the famous wan tan mee stall..!!

It is an uncle cooking the wan tan mee

He is friendly and keep on smiling when he sees any customers coming

The Wan Tan Mee

The sauce is somekind of pork cooked with oyster sauce

The Mee basically tasted like KamPua,

Told by my Sibu friends..

It tasted good..:D

P/S: Ate too much today..

Gonna look for more good food..!!

Pongal Competition

Finally, I had a different weekend here in UTP

Normally I just spent my weekend in Ipoh

Bowling, Sing K and ended up with a dinner

This time, I chose to just stay in UTP

Taking part in a competition

Pongal Competition

For those that don't know what is Pongal

It is basically a glutinous rice that is sweet

With simple ingredients such as Milk, Rice and Brown Sugar

It was organized by Indian's in UTP

and now I know how to cook Pongal..:D

We were given a clay pot and were asked to decorate it ourselves before starts cooking

OK la.. First time decorating Clay Pot..Not Bad..!!

But We got higher marks compared to the Chiang Jinn's group..wakaka..:D
