Grand Palace and Asiatique

Finally I made it to the Grand Palace@ Wat Pra Kheaw

A must go place if you come to Bangkok eventually

Took a van from Thammasat University to Thammasat Bangkok 

Costed me 40 baht

And I was dropped at a place quite near to the Grand Palace

Approximately 5 minutes will do

Had Lunch before heading to Grand Palace

Fried Noodle with Squid plus ice lemon juice

100 Baht

 Took a picture outside before entering Grand Palace

Still managed to smile despite of the hot weather..@@

 Got myself Arizona Chicken Wrap with Ice Lemon Tea in Au Bon Pain

165 Baht

 Walking for 10-15 minutes to go to Wat Pho

Paid 100 Baht for the entrance fee

 Inside Wat Pho

 The big and tall and shiny Sleeping Buddha

 I wondered how long is this statue...?

 There is small tradition here in Wat Pho

There are 108 similar containers as shown above

Give some donation in every each of the container

And 

Make a wish and your wish will be granted..!!

 Luckily they do make small changes for us

It is 1 satang each or 0.1 Baht 

We can get one of these by making a 20 Baht donation

3rd Week Internship

It's the third week of internship here in MTEC

My SV is kinda funny person..

She always say: Easy Funny Happy..

Haha

Though it is not easy, or funny or even happy to keep on repeating experiment

 Tried Thailand KFC.

The Spicy Chicken is not really spicy, Or I should say

It tasted like original in Malaysia

 Delicious though..Especially when you are hungry

 They don't have coleslaw or mashed potato here

But they have this instead, Butter Egg Tart

Very nice..!!

Internship in Thailand

Finally started to enter the laboratory to learn new things

I did not know much and just tried to remember and jot down all those important procedures

My project is all about changing rubber-processed oil to petroleum based oil

It involved epoxidation process and requires validation method for glycol as well as stabilization

Finally..After 8 hours in lab

 Thanks to San and Por for helping around in lab to let me understand better the whole procedures

It should be the greenish blue, and not the green and yellow

It was mistakenly done by me..@@

P/S: Interesting Internship now,though it is very tiring...^.^

International Conference on Materials Science and Technology

First week of Internship

Ended up going to International Conference on Materials Science and Technology 

Organized by MTEC in Swissotel la Concorde Bangkok

First time attending conference

Food there is of course good and fabulous

 Invited to the Banquet at the night

Great dinner as well

Taken at the entrance of the hotel
