Food Hunt in Ipoh

I usually had only a few hot spots to eat in Ipoh

Other than Tong Sui Kai,Yeolde English or some other places

that are repetitive all the times..

We were eating the same good food everytime it's time for a meal

I looked through facebook and found 2 hot spots to get good food this time

And I managed to find them today

And ate all that I wanted

Super Full now..@@

First of all,

三轮车鲜虾鸡丝粉 Tricycle Chicken & Prawn Noodle

Address : 天津饮冰室内（Thean Chun Coffee Shop ）

73, Jalan Bandar Timah , 30000, Ipoh Perak.

It basically nearby the India Street and I remembered it was closed the last time I visited

This time, I am lucky..!!

It is basically 鸡丝河粉 with the soup made from prawn.

So it wont taste like the ordinary soup that we get

But it tasted more like a prawn soup..

Something different compared to those that I had tried..

RM4.00

牛腩面 is basically next to the prawn stall

It tasted good basically

At least not really over-rated.

The second one that we had found was

祥记云吞面 Cheong Kee Wantan Mee

542, Jalan Sekolah, 30100, Buntong, Ipoh Perak

Nearly get lost in Buntong as what google map told me is wrong..@@

But still managed to find it after asking the local where is the famous wan tan mee stall..!!

It is an uncle cooking the wan tan mee

He is friendly and keep on smiling when he sees any customers coming

The sauce is somekind of pork cooked with oyster sauce

The Mee basically tasted like KamPua,

Told by my Sibu friends..

It tasted good..:D

RM3.00 for Normal Size

RM3.80 for 1 and a half

RM4.60 for Double Size

P/S: Ate too much today..

Gonna look for more good food..!!

Pongal Competition

Finally, I had a different weekend here in UTP

Normally I just spent my weekend in Ipoh

Bowling, Sing K and ended up with a dinner

This time, I chose to just stay in UTP

Taking part in a competition

Pongal Competition

For those that don't know what is Pongal

It is basically a glutinous rice that is sweet

With simple ingredients such as Milk, Rice and Brown Sugar

It was organized by Indian's in UTP

and now I know how to cook Pongal..:D

We were given a clay pot and were asked to decorate it ourselves before starts cooking

OK la.. First time decorating Clay Pot..Not Bad..!!

We just ended up getting consolation prizes..:D

But We got higher marks compared to the Chiang Jinn's group..wakaka..:D

泰国仔

四个小时之前，考完了这学期的第一个考试

果然不出我所料，真的不简单。

在课堂上教的是A，考试却考B，

结果我呢，就答C吧。。

在考场里的无奈，

已经不是第一次了。

毕竟来到大学，开始接受自己在考试时乱做的事实。

所以这一次，考试完了，也就还好。

应该说...是习惯了吧..!!

这学期，忙着很多事。

特别是下学期要去实习了。

大概全部已经在开始忙着发邮件。

我呢。。

大概自申请了不到十间公司吧..!!

不是说我不积极，就是没有那股力量去申请

只想到说最后还是会去实习，什么公司并不重要..

结果我还是私底下地找了教授，申请到泰国去，

本想说机会应该会很大，毕竟没人知道。

这一次，算我自私吧..

可是其他人还不是一样..

申请什么公司，都完全不透露..

我这所谓的计划，结果就不小心被全世界的人都懂了...

一开始会很气，

过后就以

“是我的就是我的，不是我的怎样抢也还是不是我的”

来安慰自己..

朋友却说，这是消极的人的想法。

你要的，就要想办法去得到。。

这简单的道理，我也懂。

可是到最后，给你抢到最好最棒的，你是不是就会真的很快乐

最近都会和朋友开个玩笑，

说我长得丑..

染了个金头发，像个泰国仔

现在被朋友笑，都还好..

可是偏偏输给了小男孩..

还记得是今年的除夕夜，到朋友家拜早年.

结果朋友就问了一句：“那一个哥哥最丑?”

结果呢，没错..就是我..

说不伤心是假的..还大年初一叻..!!

现在还因为这个金头发惹事，

在校园有保安人员，

在外有警察..!!

真的是坐立不安..!!

算了，这学期，这一年，都好像过得还蛮不好..

恐怕要去找算命师算一算命，改一改命运好了...!!

二十二

二十二岁了，

Sungai Klah Hot Spring,Sungkai One Day Trip

It was another 4 days break

Not going back home and decided just staying here in UTP

Rented car and went to Sungai Klah Hot Spring, Sungkai

About 1 hour plus journey from UTP

Entrance fee for each person is RM12

There were hot and cold water pool there,

So feel free to go any that you prefer

As many of the tourists would do the same things as well

We went to Bidor and found Pun Chun Chicken Biscuits & Restaurant Sdn Bhd

It was recommended as a must go place in Perak

Located along the road side in Bidor

Wu Kok..RM 1.70 each

Tasted okay..

You should have tried their Duck Mee as it was highly recommended here

But all my friends that had tried said it was over rated as well..@@

We went to Kampar and tried to find the recommended Ice Kacang

But we failed and ended up calling YiTong for help

Finally we are here to try this special Ice Kacang

The Ice Kacang is not normal Ice Kacang we can find anywhere

At least i never knew any other places

There were somekind of Sarsi flavored-thingy inside with fruits such as cocunut,papaya, watermelon and others like cincau and etc..

I don't think it is nice but at least it is something different

P/S: The End of Chinese New Year
